Cocktail Dress Boutiques

An old saying says "what you do for friends ...
saw the approach of Christmas I thought I'd have some fun 'with Photoshop. I'm not an ace, and probably never will, but seems to become a provider of banner Christmas candy, and in front of Michael and Mary version of Santa Claus Snowflake and I can not say no (I can not say no in front of anything that is somehow related to Michael and Mary, but that's another story).

The result are these four banners, which are essentially identical except for the inscription:

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

and the fourth, which is simply the reproduction of the third 300x150:

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Then there's the last one, made expressly at the request of my partner, he has not seen it yet, so do not know if or if you would like to make some changes. Meanwhile the site, if applicable, the substitute or add the final version:

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

My favorite continues to be first, but it seems to be the only one feeling this way. This does not mean that it is sodisfatta the result, but you could do worse. Be satisfied (and not spit on your PC if you do not like, because then you're clean), I'll try to improve this stupid question when you passed. About the exam, I'd better go back to that nasty dispensation now I dream at night.

E 'so that I do not update LJ ...
every night I plan to write something if only to thank those who switch to control but then I find myself in front of the blank page and I realize I'm too happy to put me to reflect and so I close, to avoid starting to invent blowjobs without mental any reason.

Looking back, I asked myself: why not post my acting? After all, are part of me.
And so here goes.

Title: We've Got Tonight
Author: Stefania
Telefilm : Roswell
Pairing: Michael / Maria
Category: AU
Disclaimer: The characters belong to Jason Katims and his team, I have only borrowed them without any profit.
Summary: A great love can end up without leaving scars?
's Note: I wrote this, acting in a difficult period when I did not know what the future had for me in Serbian, and the only certainty was represented by the writing. Things have changed a lot since then, and then (thankfully) my mood has nothing to do with what people back then, but this post and begin to treat acting like all the others (despite the increased attachment to it) means a bit 'exorcise all that has happened.

1.
The fateful day had arrived. He was so waiting for him, and now that was really arrived could not believe it. Her legs were weak, my heart was pounding and the heat softened the sound but not the emotions. One year. It had been a year since the last time I had seen, and felt like a teenager struggling with the first crush, when the palms sweat and his voice lacks the emotion too much.

got off the taxi in front of the bar where they had gathered and lingered on the glass door to give himself one last look. As if he had not ever seen without makeup or oversized overalls and wool socks! He smiled at the memory of all they had shared over the years and, after having inhaled and exhaled deeply, she entered the room. It was almost time for dinner, and the bar was full of guests for a cocktail. Turned his eyes towards a very specific table, where a boy in the shirt was obviously waiting for. So he went without breaking eye contact, letting her long blond hair flapping and good the men inside the room turned to look at. She was beautiful in the soft blue silk dress which left uncovered legs, a slender pair of suede boots clear.
When he was really close, the boy stood up and they stood before him, revealing a significant difference despite the high heels for her. He took her hand and kissed it, keeping his eyes chained to hers.
- How did we become gallant
... The young man smiled and motioned her to sit in front of him, where they could talk. They looked into his eyes for endless moments, until he answered the challenge previous
- What did I say? This change ...
- I see it! All this gallantry, the new haircut ... if you tell me that you also bought a car instead of the bike to faint!
When she saw him scratch his right eyebrow and make an embarrassed grin, he thought he really faint:
- You're kidding, right? ... Michael? You really sold the bike for a car?
- Not really ... I say that now is the bike for the machine.
- Do not believe it. Michael on four wheels ... incredible.
That was clearly mocked, Michael answered with equal hilarity:
- And I'll tell you more, Mary, you are also to make the knowledge!
- you are here by car?
Michael smiled sarcastically and continued:
- Actually you've already seen.
- When? How? Where?
- It 's parked right in front.
Maria turned to the glass door and saw only three volumes long gray parked in the space provided opposite the entrance. Seeing no other, fixed his attention back to Michael:
- I'm curious to see it ... but mostly you drive it. I do not know how long is that I see you driving a car ...
They stared into his eyes for a few seconds more and more infinite, and their fingers intertwined halfway on the table in the bar.
- How many other things I do not know about you, Michael?
The sadness had taken possession of her eyes, and he tried to end by increasing the grip on his fingers:
- Do not worry, Maria, that's why we're here: to tell us what became of our lives in this year of separation. Just like we did last year and the year before.
- And the one before that.
- It 's already the fourth year?
- Mm mm.
Michael knew how many years they met at that bar, to the same table, at that precise day, but wanted to bring a smile to Mary, and seemed to do it perfectly, because she smiled with her free hand and wiped the tear that was formed at the corner of an eye.
- As time goes on.
- Already ... and things change.
- Maria ...
- Yes, I know that I've wanted to, but ...
- It 's been good, Mary.
- You're right, but days like this make me a bit 'sad.
Maria tried to tone down the conversation, smiling, but his eyes did not seem to agree with his mouth.
- It 's why we're here, right? In memory of old times.
- Right. So, what we drink?
- Mm ... for me a glass of prosecco.
Michael got the only free hand and called the waitress who served them with a wide variety of snacks and asked
- What can I bring?
- A sparkling wine for Miss me and a Negroni.
- Now. If you want, there are snacks at the bar for everyone.
- Okay, thanks.
When the girl was gone, Mary turned to the guy who was still holding his hand and said
- I ate with my eyes!
- not true!
Michael retorted, winking an embarrassed smile.
- Come on, Michael, you would not notice essertene! Not realized my presence even when you talked about a certain 'lady'! He was so busy drooling ...
that - OK, enough, I surrender! You won! I noticed something, in fact ...
- See? I know you too well, my dear, not to to notice such things! We've been together for many years ... twelve? Thirteen?
- Nearly thirteen.
- And I'm also pretty sure that you have eaten, her eyes just as you have eaten you.
Michael scratched his eyebrow again and tried to change the subject:
- We're going to munch something while waiting for the drinks?
- You're kidding, right? And let you be distracted by the waitress before? Never ever! ... Can I have you all to myself one day a year, and I have no intention to share you miss sweet eyes!
Michael laughed heartily, before looking at Maria's eyes and reassure
- You know that the only woman in the world, For me, it's you.
salirne Maria felt the blush to the cheeks from his neck, and for a moment he looked down, embarrassed. Then abruptly returned to reality:
- At least today.
- No, again. The fact that we meet once a year does not mean that you think or you're not the one for me.
- Michael ...
The tears seemed to be really about to go down, and only the arrival of the maid stopped them with their drinks. Pose the negroni ahead of Michael staring insistently and then the champagne in front of Mary, without looking away from him, but was too busy staring at the green eyes of the girl sitting at the same table. Mary resisted temptation to inveigh against the maid because she was too busy getting lost in a sea of chocolate eyes of Michael.
drank the contents of the glasses telling what had changed in those three hundred sixty-five days that had passed away, without hiding anything.

- You've really opened a studio?
-
Yes - No way!
- Thank you for your trust.
- No, come on ... you know what I mean.
- Yes, quite.
- It '... that I do not know how to explain it ... imagine how strange it is already an architect, in a suit and tie and a briefcase ... even with a study of your own ...
- really is not all mine, are in companies with an old college buddy.
- Someone I know?
- Maybe. You remember Josh?
- Josh ... I do not say anything. Should it?
- You should have seen him a couple of times.
- I par ...
- Yes! How did I not remember! This is the guy who threw up on your skirt after my graduation!
Michael began to laugh remembering that scene took place many years ago, when Michael and Mary had left the course with fellow architecture of the new graduates to celebrate Michael, Michael and Josh, in fact. They went into a pub and the boys had begun to compete with those who drank more, with the result that Josh, gracilino, had no more right a couple of mugs of beer and drunk lost, had tried with Mary, who had not had time to dismiss it before any damage was done.
- Oh my God! That Josh?!
Continuing to laugh, Michael continued:
- That's right, him.
- And you've put in company with that rude, obnoxious guy so thin as to compete in a chi ...
- Michael! Maria
instantly fell silent when he heard a male voice coming from behind him to call Michael, he saw a tall, lean flank and reach out to Michael, who got up and returned the gesture.
- What are you doing here?
- I went out with some friends to have a drink, and you?
- I am here with Mary. Do you remember her? Michael
the index, and the boy looked at her without recognizing her, not even Mary, however, seemed to have no idea who the person was in front of him, not until Michael made the introductions:
- Maria, you remember him? E 'Josh, my partner. Josh, do you remember Mary? It 's my ex-wife. Both
realized immediately who found themselves in front and smiled before shaking hands:
- Q-How long, Mary ...
Josh was visibly embarrassed, because it's not often see a friend in the company of his ex-wife, and above is even more difficult to see them well together as they seemed to be Michael and Mary.
- ... we've seen practically since we graduated and I Michael ...
suddenly remembering their last meeting, Josh found himself further embarrassment, but masked with a joke:
- You better stay away from alcohol, then !
They all laughed along with the memory of an incident that happened before a lot of water under the bridge.
- Back from my friends. It was a pleasure to see you, Mary.
- Even for me, Josh.
The boy walked away, and Michael and Maria sat down again.
- You know me just like I know you, Mary, and then of 'what you're thinking.
- I?
- Yes, you are ... useless to try not to laugh.
Then Mary burst out laughing and started to taste so that the copious tears flowed on both cheeks pink.
- Come on, Maria. The
urged Michael to be involved with that laugh without knowing why.
- What can I say ... I'm glad to see that he put on a few pounds since college. Maybe now holds more alcohol! Michael
warned with the look, but even he could be serious, so she brought a piece of bread and gave it to him, oblivious that they were in a very fashionable and also of a certain thickness.
again with tears in his eyes, Michael asked Maria to go:
- in danger of being late to the restaurant, are we going?
- Sure.
- and I'm going to pay back. Maria waited
Michael sitting at their table, thinking about the strangeness of their situation seen from outside: two ex who meet in a bar and joke and laugh and declare their love for each other as if it were their first date.
In reality they had been together almost thirteen years, four of them as husband and wife, and then they realized he had left by mutual agreement. And since then, every year, that same day, were in that bar for an aperitif and dinner together.
- Hey, Sleeping Beauty.
- Mm? Maria
stirred from his thoughts to see Michael, standing beside her, waiting for her.
- What were you thinking?
- A nothing important. Come on.
They left the bar side by side, Michael's hand resting on the back of Mary, and the eyes of everyone in the room facing each other.

2.
parked the car a few hundred meters from the restaurant and they walked together toward the entrance.
Michael opened the door and brought Maria first, followed up at their table. That, too, the same four years.
browse the menu in silence, even though Michael knew that she would break out at any moment. He did not wait very fact:
- I can not comprehend ... that car is really yours?
Also read on, Michael smiled and replied with a simple yes.
- But your your own?
- What does my mine?
- It means that you've bought? With your money? Insurance is registered to you? ...
Michael sent his eyes to heaven, before answering patiently
- Yes, Mary: I went to the dealer, I have tried different car models, I chose that, I have paid with my money, the 'insurance is in my name, I am full of petrol, I drive, I ...
- Ok, ok, I understand.
- Good.
He was to return to its menu when Mary interrupted him again:
- One last thing.
- What now?
Churches, mock exasperation.
- But you were in full possession of your faculties when you bought it?
Michael could not avoid to laugh, and this time.
- What are you saying, Mary?
- I do not know, Michael. It's all so strange ... you always been passionate about motorcycles, you bought a car. And then that kind of machine! I mean ... when we were at the bar ... and I turned around I saw, parked outside the glass door, but I thought it was some rich guy.
- Do you think it really so strange?
- I have this memory of you running with your bike on the streets of Roswell without a helmet, because he loved feeling the wind in your face, and instead, now ...
- And what were to rise behind me was screaming and going slower. Both
remembered those episodes, the sensation of the air slapped the face of Michael at high speed, the hair of Mary, which inevitably are tied, and the sensation of heat on her arms wrapped around his waist.
- I think you did it on purpose.
- What?
he asked, looking innocent falsely.
- The more I asked you to slow down, the more you accelerated.
- not true.
- Michael ... admit it. Many years have passed, I did not take more If you confess.
- No no, I assure you that you're wrong.
- If you say so ... we order?
-

Yes - But it was nice to feel you shake hands because you were afraid ...
- See I was right!
- the first time ... especially when we were not that two teenagers.
- Teens with hormones to a thousand, you mean.
Michael smiled as he continued to eat the noodles with shrimp:
- In a certain sense.
- Come on, Michael, do not ignore it. We were asked to leave the hormones that practically the first time we cross to school.
- Mary, if you wear some skirts to school, it is obvious that a boy with eyes and a little 'brain you would have noticed.
- Michael, if there is one thing that has nothing to do with my short skirt is just the brain!
Exasperated, the boy looked up at the sky and said jokingly:
- But we feel, has to do with what?
Mary threatened to choke from laughing too, and Michael continued to make fun of:
- all right?
- Michael, these measures two-way not me I would never expect from you.
- If you tease me, I react. The
he said, looking directly into her eyes.
- I always liked to tease ... especially when we were not alone.
- I know.
- And when you scratch the Eyebrow knew I had won. Maria
While he spoke, Michael scratched his eyebrow, causing her silvery laugh:
- Just like now.
- Mary, do not need me to tell you the effect you have on me.
- I think I have a vague idea ...
- Really?
- Yes ... and also the room of the erasers of Roswell High.
- If you put it so, then a large part of the house of your mother, every square inch of my old apartment, your car ...
- Ok, ok, I think I understand what you mean ... but maybe that is the case stop before they throw us out of this respectable restaurant. Among

scope and the other, Michael and Mary continued to tell the events of last year:
- What are you doing?
- I work in public relations.
- With your eloquence could not find work best.
Mary's stuck her tongue before returning and going into a serious speech that surely would have liked to Michael
- It 's been to offer me this job Billy.
The look on Michael's face changed completely, the left fork in midair:
- Billy? That Billy?
- That's him.
- That scoundrel who tried to leave us a few days before our wedding?
- That Billy, yes. Michael was
altering, and Mary repented of having revealed that particularly in a place like this, where people were sitting silently in front of three crystal glasses, three forks, two knives and Swarovski chandeliers by hundreds of dollars each, and perhaps should have tell him later when they were alone in the room, when they made love, but could not and would not, break quell'idillio so precious and rare.
- works for him?
- No, he just brought me the head of the company. They are friends, and when Tom's head, told him he was looking for someone who would be responsible for public relations, he thought of me.
- What a good boy. It did not want anything in return?
- Michael! As you can only think that is down to me so much? If you believe that I sell to find a better job, you're wrong ... and then, perhaps, what was wrong all these years more than me, because I never thought you could even remotely suggest something like that!
- Mary, calm down.
did not seem that the words of Michael had any effect on her, because instead of calm down, stirred further:
- Calm down? You're kidding, right? ... Michael, I came here tonight to talk to you convinced by civilized people, not for me to put the # ana.
- I would not have given you put the # ana. It moderates the terms, we're not at Crashdown. The
Crashdown. Mary felt a sudden tight stomach to the memory of it was much simpler, at the time of the Crashdown, when they were teenagers who spent their time with their childhood friends.

They were silent for a long time before Michael broke the ice and tried in its own way, to apologize:
- Maria?
- Mm?
she grunted, still offended by the words a little earlier.
- Do not be fooled by Billy. It is in love with you always, and will do anything for you to forgive him for what you did.
- For what he did to us. Michael, do you ever forgive someone who has a mandate to sciacquetta seduce you to blow up our marriage?
- Then why you accepted your job offer?
Mary seemed to think a moment, then, sadly, he admitted:
- I needed money.
- For what?
- Michael ... My mother lost her job, and my salary was not enough. Billy happened at the right time with a paid job almost twice what I had at that time. How could I refuse?
Michael's eyes softened, and as it had before the bar, reached out a hand to take hers and their fingers entwine. He wanted to send her warmth and her strength, in addition to her that she was extremely sorry for his earlier insinuations:
- Why did not you come with me? I could help. And then you know that I have a soft spot for your mother.
- Yes, I know. And she has a soft spot for you, but ...
- Ma?
- Michael, is not easy to ask your ex-husband a thing. Many couples ...
- Mary, we'll seem like many couples? Look around and then think about us two, you realize the absurdity of our situation?
Maria smiled that Michael did not understand:
- Why are you laughing?
- Do you remember when first, at the bar, you asked me what was I thinking?
- After paying ... yes, I remember.
- I thought exactly what you said: Seen from the outside we have two really seem crazy!
- Josh's expression confirmed it.
- Definitely.
They laughed together, the harmony and the harmony found, ready to go into the last part of their meeting.
- Have you finished eating?
- Yes, as every year, I ate too much.
- Come on, blonde, you know a way to dispose of the dinner!
As before at the bar, Michael went to pay, leaving Mary to the table, lost in contemplation of that perfect body and short, it was again his, for that day.

3.
The room was the same for four years.
Michael and Mary had made love and were lying in bed listening to the sound of drops falling on the window sill, producing a soothing sound.
Michael was lying on the bed with her head resting on her blonde Mary's bare chest, eyes closed and silent. They wanted to enjoy their last and only night together, for that year. The next morning, the first of two that he woke he would leave without waking the other, which would have remained there motionless, pretending to sleep, but actually committed to save every little noise, and all traces of scent left behind, to keep alive the memory at least until the year after.
The years spent together, almost thirteen, had led to a mutual knowledge virtually complete in every respect, and despite the past four years had seen four times, had not forgotten the needs and desires of others. That's why each year, before the bar and then to the restaurant, took place exactly the same scenes, full of repressed sexual tension in the distance. When he arrived in their room, both pulled out their claws and fought for the love that had no hope outside of those annual meetings, and they loved each other, and possessed, and fought and then loved again, and scratching and biting, and stroked to love again.

That time was not different from previous ones: left the restaurant, went to reception where Michael had done to the key, under the astonished eyes of the people around, who apparently sensed the vibrations emanating from the couple. They climbed the stairs slowly, aware of what would happen soon, and that had already happened many times during their relationship, but how excited were the first time. They walked slowly, savoring the feeling of the stomach in turmoil, the feeling of nausea due to anxiety, heart beat so strong to fear that anyone can hear it, and palms sweating out despite the fact it is suddenly cool.
Just had crossed the threshold, however, the tigers were in them and that until then had remained hidden, had taken over, the passion had flared up and imperious Michael and Mary had fought against the injustices of life, compared with a story destined to survive despite everything, against a marriage that did not have to end, and against the trail of pain that those meetings were brought back.

Lying there in the dark, everything seemed possible. The lightning tore the sky so that each had more injuries to the two broken hearts in love, that opened my eyes for a split second, enough to bring them sharply to the reality of a situation that was not real. Paradoxical. Ironically, it was the right word for a relationship like the one involving Michael and Mary so in love and yet so compatible.

Neither could tell how long they had been embraced in silence, lost in the warmth and protection of bodies. But after yet another flash, and increased noise from the rain, Mary posed the question to Michael that he would hurt more:
- Michael?
- Mm?
- you have a girlfriend right now?
's hesitation the boy was a more than adequate.
- What's your name?
- Maria ...
Although the relationship was established between them after the divorce, Michael felt uncomfortable talking about these things with Mary, but she insisted:
- Come on! The Pact is: tell all.
- All right ... It's called Sophie.
- And how?
- Carina. Does the publicist in Manhattan.
Maria seemed to metabolize it before answering, as best he could hide his disappointment that a response had hoped until the last to be negative:
- It 's a serious thing?
- I do not know. I'm good, but I'm not the type that makes long-term projects.
smiled at the memory of Michael sixteen year old who would not bind anyone, and against which he had to fight lengthy battles, but to occupy a place in his heart. In the end he had done, even though he had struggled because this space that was obtained was safe enough for her. We failed, and he knew that with time and despite what had happened between them, there would have been just her. He knew equally well that sooner or later would be joined by someone else, but nobody would have taken his property nor would it have been considered more of her.
He knew because the same was true for her, Michael was Michael. Maybe he did not have as much as she had to fight to be accepted, but did not want to say to her, he was less important.
Then, two free spirits like themselves, had come to the wedding. And began a slow decline.
- And ... what do you think of the dear Sophie our meetings?
- Mary You will do most of my life forever, we were also hundreds of miles away. No one can compete with you and what you have meant to me, all these years.
- This means that you have invented an excuse to come to me?
Michael did not answer this time either, and Mary knew it was a positive response.
- work meeting?
- Yes
Returning to the original position, lying on the bed with my eyes closed, Michael and Mary goderono for a little 'peace of being together, until Mary broke the silence again, overlooking his voice the sound of the wind was added to the patter of rain and hail:
- Michael?
- Mm?
- Remember why we broke up.
- ... because we fought from morning to evening, because the proximity to one another, seeing each other every day, you nervous, because our life was a living hell, because we had become slaves of our relationship ... because love is sometimes not enough.
- Yes ... love is sometimes not enough.
A few minutes passed before Mary spoke again:
- I sleep, Michael.
- Good night.
- Do not want to fall asleep ... the next time I open my eyes I might have to do one of the hardest things in the world, or I could end up alone and feeling abandoned.
- Maria ... Again
eyes closed, Michael squeezed her arms around her tiny body and felt her hold back a sob.
- Do not cry, please.
- Michael ... wake up hugging you and let you sleep while still blessed is suffering atrocious.
- So I hope I wake up first, so I'll leave you.
- You're not funny, Michael.
Michael kissed the forehead of Mary, who was still to hold back the tears.
- Good night, Mary.
- 'night, Michael. I love you.
- Me too. Next year.
- Same place, same time.

We've Got Tonight,
who needs tomorrow? Today I
